North Sea Cycle Route
The North Sea Cycle Route spans a total distance of nearly 6,000 km across 6 countries and is therefore listed as the world’s longest cycle route.
From direction of Wedel, the route runs along the Elbe through the wide marshlands of Holstein. At this point of the route, Glückstadt is the perfect location to rest and spend the night before continuing on to Brunsbüttel. From here the route goes on along the impressive coast of the North Sea to Denmark.
